PROJECT SCHOLARSHIP
About Project Scholarship:
Scholarships will be awarded to winning applicants during graduation ceremonies in May or June. Since 1996, Kettle Range Conservation Group has presented over $40,000 in scholarships. Every year between one and three $1000 scholarships will presented. Kettle Range Conservation Group offers scholarships each May and June to area high-school seniors in Colville, Curlew, Inchelium, Kettle Falls, Republic, and Tonasket.
The selection criteria is simple and straight-forward. A committee reviews student applications, selecting grantees based on grade point average, essay quality and subject matter, letters of recommendation and extra-curricular activities, especially community volunteerism. Emphasis will be placed on student need, community volunteerism and essay. Certification of college enrollment is required before issuance of scholarship grants. Scholarship winners will be announced at graduation ceremonies.
